Someone sent you the logo as a .ai file and your phone had nothing to open it with. Pathside opens it — on the phone itself, sharp at any zoom, with nothing uploaded anywhere.

It has no internet permission
Not a promise in a privacy policy — a fact about the app. Pathside does not request INTERNET, so it cannot send your client's artwork anywhere even if it wanted to. Files open in flight mode, in a basement, on a site with no signal.
The other viewers in this category upload the file to a server, render it there, and send back a compressed image. Their own reviewers describe it: “it is not a vector representation … the app uploads your CDR to the cloud … zoom-in is pixelated, confidential info concerns, and requires internet connection.”

Pinch and the artwork is drawn again from the vector, not stretched. Check a hairline, a join, the edge of a cut line.

Every artboard
A multi-artboard Illustrator file is a set — six lockups, four sizes, every colourway. Step through them one at a time.

WhatsApp, Gmail, Drive, Files, Downloads. Open with → Pathside, and the file is on screen.

What it does not do
It does not open CorelDRAW .cdr files. Drawing one properly needs Corel's own format engine; the alternative is showing you the small preview image hidden inside the file, which is what the 1M-install app in that search result does, and what its reviewers complain about. Pathside tells you it is a .cdr instead.
It does not open Photoshop .psd files — those are layered pixels, a different job — and it does not edit anything. Some .eps files are plain PostScript with no PDF inside; those cannot be drawn accurately, and the app says so rather than guessing.
